German, American firefighters exchange jobs in new program

In an exchange program that’s the first of its kind, firefighter Lt. Matthew Cagle, Fort Jackson Fire Department, spent two weeks in September training with the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart FD while a garrison local national firefighter went to South Carolina.

Community can now exchange its change

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 21, the Community Bank in Bldg. 2915, Panzer Kaserne, now has two new coin counting machines to exchange U.S. or European Union coins into folding cash.
