UPDATE, JULY 30: The K&K Gate has reopened for regular operations effective immediately following the early completion of construction work. The temporary limitations on the issuing of visitor passes at the Patch main gate during weekday work hours in connection with this work have also been lifted. The Frankfurt Consulate Passport team will be visiting USAG Stuttgart on Friday, June 14, 2024, to accept applications (by appointment) for Tourist Passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, significantly decreasing overall processing time. The project designed to modernize the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), fire alarm, and sprinkler systems in Patch Barracks building 2337 is entering its final stretch, with an updated tentative completion date of early September. This reflects additional work required due to complexity of the roof structure above the basketball court.Read More

In the coming days, U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart public works crews will begin installing signs along Florida Strasse at Patch Barracks to better define where drivers can (and can’t) park during working hours. Cars and trucks parked on both sides of Florida Strasse have recently caused impediments to traffic flow that have made it hard for service and construction vehicles to safely get through.
