The Patch High School wrestling team, the reigning Department of Defense Dependents Schools Division I European champions, hosted its first match of the season Dec. 3. Ramstein, with 252.5 points, out-scored Patch (235), Heidelberg (146), Black Forest Academy (75) and Schweinfurt (9). Leading the Panthers were individual division winners’ Isaac McIlvene, 120 pounds; Jaden Fields, 132 pounds; Jaden Wilstead, 152 pounds; Robert Mannier, 182 pounds; and Albert Suarez, 195 pounds.

Football teams ready to tackle second season

Football teams ready to tackle second season

Youth tackle football kicked off its second season in U.S. Army Garrison
Stuttgart with 74 participants, about 32 more players than last season.

In its inaugural season, USAG Stuttgart Child, Youth and School Services
fielded a bantam team for 9- to 11-year-olds and a junior team for 12-
to 14- year-olds. This year, the program boasts one bantam and two
junior teams.

Two championship victories punctuated the end of a tough winter sports
season at Patch High School, making the girls basketball team number
one in Department of Defense Dependents Schools Europe Division I and
the Junior ROTC air rifle team best in the Army.
