U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart will host a military ceremony that includes a ceremonial artillery gun (cannon) salute July 1, 2025 on Patch Barracks in Vaihingen.
The U.S. European Command ceremony will feature a ceremonial 19-gun salute tentatively scheduled to occur between 11 a.m. and noon. Though loud, the artillery will only fire blank rounds.
According to the Arlington National Cemetery website, a ceremonial artillery gun salute is a long-held military custom performed by the firing of cannon, or artillery, as a military honor.
We apologize in advance for any disturbance this may cause, and we thank you for your continued friendship and understanding.
