A 81 closed between between Sindelfingen-Ost and Böblingen-Hulb June 12 to 15
Plan ahead if traveling through Böblingen or Sindelfingen this weekend. The autobahn will be closed between Sindelfingen-Ost and Böblingen-Hulb from June 12 at 10 p.m. to June 15 at 5 a.m.
All autobahn traffic will be diverted during the closure, with the route taking vehicles through the Sindelfingen city area. Motorists heading toward Singen should follow the “U6” detour signs. From the Sindelfingen-Ost interchange, the route leads via Mahdentalstraße, Neckarstraße, and Calwer Straße to federal highway B 464, heading south. Drivers can then rejoin the autobahn at the Böblingen-Hulb interchange.
In the opposite direction—toward Stuttgart—the detour follows the “U11” route. It traces the same path, except that drivers must enter the highway at the Böblingen-Ost interchange; the Sindelfingen-Ost entrance is not accessible for traffic heading toward Stuttgart. The Böblingen-Ost interchange can be reached via Schwertstraße and Tilsiter Straße, via the underpass beneath the motorway.
