B464 ramps in Böblingen closed June 3-8

Due to the expansion of the A81 between Sindelfingen and Böblingen, the on and off-ramps of the B464 at the Böblingen-West and Böblingen-Hulb interchanges in the direction of Reutlingen will be completely closed from June 3 at 10 p.m. to June 8 at 5 a.m.

The A81 service road in the Böblingen-Hulb area in the direction of Singen and the exit in the direction of Stuttgart will also be closed. Traffic on the A81 and B464 will not be affected.

Detours will lead either from the B464 via the Sindelfingen-West Exit to Böblingen or via Schickardstraße to the Böblingen South Exit. For traffic from the B464 onto the A81 towards Stuttgart or Singen, the detours lead via the B464 to Böblingen-Süd. There, drivers turn around and enter the Autobahn at Hulb. Traffic exiting the Autobahn is routed via the Ehningen Interchange.

New laws limit smoking areas in public spaces

In February, the Baden-Württemberg State Parliament passed laws prohibiting smoking at playgrounds, tram and bus stops, outdoor swimming pools, zoos, and amusement parks.  This rule applies to cigarettes, vapes, and e-cigarettes.

At outdoor pools this means an absolute smoking ban of smoking on the lawn, in the water, and at the snack kiosks. Smokers are still able to use designated smoking areas.

Sindelfingen also implemented a new anti-smoking law on the opening day of their outdoor pool, banning smoking on the lawn, in the water, and at the snack kiosks.
