U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart will participate, in Germany’s National Warning Day, on Thursday Sept. 10 when phones, radios, television and loudspeakers will send out alerts at 11 a.m. and follow with an all-clear message by 11:45 a.m.

At USAG Stuttgart, the “Giant Voice” loudspeaker system will send out a test message at all installations.

National Warning Day is a joint initiative organized by the federal government, the states, and local municipalities. It is held annually on the second Thursday in September.
