CYS Sports is looking for at least nine more volunteers to serve as head and assistant coaches for a variety of sports, at different skill levels and multiple installations. The deadline for volunteers is noon on August 17
Without volunteer support, the fall sports season could see the loss of multiple teams.
The season will run from Sept. 1 to Oct.24, with volleyball, cheer, pickleball, soccer and flag football for children aged three to 15.
The following teams are scheduled for the season, with coaching openings in bold. If no one steps up by the deadline, they may be canceled:
Kelley Barracks:
Soccer – bantam girl | ages 9–11
Mondays & Wednesdays | 5 :30 – 6:30 p.m.
Flag football – minor | ages 7–8
Wednesdays | 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
