- Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Overseas Program: A nutrition education and supplemental food program that aims to improve overall health and wellness of families.

Military Aid Organizations
- Army Emergency Relief: Shutdown loans available up to $6,000 for active-duty Soldiers and their families. Other resources available to retirees and survivors.
- Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society: Assistance members of the Navy and Marine Corps.
- Air Force Aid Society: Assistance for members of the Air Force and Space Force.
- Coast Guard Mutual Assistance: Interest-free loans up to one month of BAH.
- National Guard Relief Foundation: Assistance for National Guard Soldiers, Airmen, and families facing emergencies

Family and MWR
- Free Recreation Opportunities: Free activities available at the golf course, bowling alley, outdoor recreation, and more.
- Army Community Service (ACS): Programs and Services are available to DoW ID Card Holders.
- MWR Childcare (CDC/CYC)
- Families will be billed for care and services provided during the shutdown.
- Families will have 30 days to pay fees after an appropriations bill or continuing resolution (CR) is passed.
- Late payments will not be assessed during the furlough period.
- Late payments will be applied 31 business days after the enactment of an appropriations bill or CR

Garrison Religious Support Office: Operation Helping Hands
- A ministry designed to help service members and federal employees who are experiencing a short-term financial crisis in their life.
- Commissary gift cards funded through Stuttgart Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund.
- Assistance limit based on family size–$50 to $250
- Inquire through unit chaplain or the Garrison RSO.

Stuttgart Community Pantry
- Volunteer-run pantries that offer free non-perishable shelf-stable food, hygiene supplies, and pet products to anyone with base access.
- Operated with support from Garrison RSO, unit chaplains, and other community partners, like the American Red Cross.
- Donations accepted at all locations. A list of needed items is updated on the Stuttgart Community Pantry Facebook Page.

School Meal Program (SMP) Temporary Support During Furlough
- Impacted families are encouraged to apply for benefits to help cover the cost of school meals
- Only intended for the duration of the furlough and reapplication is required after shutdown
- 60-day grace period post-shutdown for families to pay negative balances, with flexibility for additional extensions upon request

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Overseas Program: Temporary Enrollment for Families Affected by Government Shutdown
- If you are not receiving wages due to the Government shutdown, you may be eligible for temporary WIC benefits.
- WIC provides you and your family with nutritious food; tips on how to prepare balanced meals; nutrition and health screenings; and other resources.
- The WIC Overseas Program is also available to eligible Civilian employees and DoW contractors.
- All other standard WIC eligibility criteria still apply.
- Call the Stuttgart WIC Overseas office to check if you qualify and can enroll for temporary monthly benefits.
