Shoppers can now donate to AER year round at The Exchange

Community members wanting to make a donation to the 2020 AER campaign were left with nowhere to put their money earlier this year when fundraising moved from its traditional spring window to July, due to the coronavirus.

Now with just a couple of weeks left of the July campaign, a recent press release by The Exchange announces a move to enable year round donations. As of now, Soldiers and other authorized shoppers can donate to Army Emergency Relief or the Air Force Assistance Fund any time they use a register at the Panzer Main Exchange.

“We’ve seen our military community grow stronger by standing together through the pandemic, and now Exchange shoppers can continue to support the important work of these relief funds anytime they shop.” Exchange Director/CEO Tom Shull said.

Shoppers have the option to donate at the cash register in increments of $1, $5 and $10, or you can enter a custom amount and online donations can be made in $5 increments during checkout at ShopMyExchange.com.
