Jordan Fay, 12, and her Stuttgart Piranha teammates take to the water Dec. 14 to compete in a special ‘pentathlon’ swim meet at the Ramstein Aquatic Center against five other teams from the European Forces Swim League. Each swimmer participated in five events: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and the individual medley. Placing was based on lowest combined five-event time. Hayden Kasavicha (13-14 Boys) won first place in all five events and the overall pentathlon title for his age group. Lizzie Hodges (15-16 Girls) took the overall title for her age group. Eric Arrington (15-16 Boys) and Anthony LoGrande ( 17-19 Boys) each won second place overall in their respective age groups, while Trevor Clark took third place overall in the (15-16 Boys) division.
