Feeding birds the right way

Usually bird-feeding stations are wooden boards, tables or small birdhouses. Sometimes people simply place birdseed on a window sill. For birds, this can be dangerous, since they can catch many diseases from other birds’ droppings. A better option is to hang cylindrical bird feeders or balls containing vegetable fat, seeds and unsalted nuts in nearby bushes or trees out of reach of cats.
It’s a great way to view birds up close and will allow you to count the different species coming to your house.
