After leaving the Frog Road, road users will be unable to turn right to join the A81 direction Singen, where the road loops around by Breuningerland, onto Panzer strasse. Instead drivers must follow detour U6a, through Sindelfingen.

Alternate Routes between Oct. 26 and Nov. 6.

Map showing road closures
Road users will be unable to use the Sindelfingen Ost junction in the direction of Singen to join Panzer strasse.

Drivers are advised to use the A81 when commuting between Patch Barracks and Panzer Kaserne.

The closure will affect drivers who want to drive in the direction of Singen by way of Panzer Strasse. After drivers leave the A81 and loop around, they will be unable to take the immediate exit in the direction of Singen to get onto the A-81 between Oct. 26 and Nov. 6.

The closure also affects drivers driving towards Stuttgart, who take the “frog road junction” to get to Panzer kaserne. After leaving the A81, they will be unable to turn right, to rejoin the A81 direction Singen.

A detour route (signed U6a) will take drivers through Sindelfingen and around the closure.

Those using Frog Road to travel between Panzer Kaserne and Patch Barracks are unaffected, other than navigating the existing roadwork traffic patterns.
