Effective immediately, the Army Health Clinic-Stuttgart is no longer authorized to provide pre-leisure travel testing for COVID-19.
The clinic has prepared a list of off-post providers in the local area for the convenience of the community in obtaining test results prior to leisure travel (note: this list is provided for informational purposes only and no government endorsement of providers is implied).
Community members will continue to utilize the Patch Barracks testing center for post-travel testing on their return to the Stuttgart area in accordance with the existing Testing and Quarantine Guidance, regardless of the reason for travel.
There is no change to the testing policy for travelers on official orders (PCS, TDY, and emergency leave with documentation) or community members who are close contacts of positive cases or possibly symptomatic themselves.
Travelers should double-check with their airline prior to travel to confirm testing requirements for their destination and/or layover locations, as these can vary widely.
