Autobahn closure in the first week of September
On the first weekend in September, the Autobahn will be closed in the direction of Singen between the Sindelfingen-Ost and Böblingen-Hulb junctions, and in the direction of Stuttgart between the Böblingen-Hulb junction and the Böblingen/Sindelfingen junction.
The work will begin on Friday, September 1, from 10 p.m. and is expected to end on Monday, September 4, at approx. 5 a.m.
The section of K 1073 between the intersection of Dornierstrasse/Gottlieb-Daimler-Strasse/Böblinger Strasse and the intersection of Böblinger/Calwer Strasse/Heinkelstrasse/Flugfeld-Allee will also be fully closed between 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, and about 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 4.
The reason for the closure is that the northern superstructure for the new bridge of the road between Böblingen and Dagersheim will be fitted this weekend.
The detour will take place in the direction of Singen from the Sindelfingen-Ost junction via the U 6 (Mahdentalstraße, Neckarstraße, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Straße, Calwer Straße and B 464) to the Böblingen-Hulb junction and in the direction of Stuttgart via the U 11 on the same route from the Böblingen-Hulb junction to the Sindelfingen-Ost junction.
Dornierstraße – Hanns-Klemm-Straße – to Calwer Straße (U 11) and Calwer Straße – Hanns-Klemm-Straße – Dornierstraße – to Böblinger Straße (U 10) are designated as local detour routes in the area of the highway crossing Calwer Straße / K 1073.
In addition, Flugfeld-Allee will be closed from Melli-Beese-Strasse in the direction of Calwer Strasse.
Traffic participants in the direction of Dagersheim are therefore requested to use the U 10 via Konrad-Zuse-Strasse from Wolfgang-Brumme-Allee.
