Strategic Intelligence masters program deadline May 1

The National Intelligence University offers all U.S. Government, military service members and reservists with TS/SCI clearance and undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university the opportunity to apply for a Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence (MSSI). The application deadline is May 1, 2016.

There are no fees for students participating in NIU programs. Textbooks for each class are provided by the university, which must be returned at the end of the each term.

Classes are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. on Patch Barracks.

About MSSI

TThe MSSI degree program consists of a series of core and elective courses and a master’s thesis The curriculum encompasses regional and global issues; military and civilian concerns; leadership in the IC; political and military processes; and the assessment of physical, cultural, and economic environmental considerations. NIU operates on an academic quarter calendar. Classes at the European Academic Center meet twice each week in the evenings over a two year period.

National Intelligence University is committed to making intelligence education more accessible to IC professionals worldwide. The NIU European Academic Center offers the Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) degree program in a part-time format at RAF Molesworth and via video teleconference from Molesworth to additional locations at Stuttgart and Mainz Kastel Wiesbaden. The sequence of classes is designed to allow students to complete the MSSI coursework in two years, while location and schedule provide a convenient way for working professionals to conduct graduate study in their chosen career field.
