U.S Army Garrison Stuttgart’s Transition Assistance Program has coordinated with Hiring our Heroes to host the USAG Stuttgart Career Summit, at the Swabian Event Center on Patch Barracks, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event boasts two workshops beginning at 9 a.m. Service members preparing to transition out of the military can attend the Transition Workshop where topics include understanding compensation and negotiation, SkillBridge and training opportunities, and preparing for interviews. Military spouses can attend a similar workshop which will focus on professional storytelling, building resumes, leveraging LinkedIn, and networking.
At 1:30 p.m. the event will pick up with a Hiring Fair where job seekers will be able to network with representatives from local regional and national organizations.
According to Hiring Our Heroes, more than 30 employers are attending the event.
