GARRISON STATEMENT:
Since the beginning of COVID-19, our garrison command and senior responsible officer have worked together with local authorities to review and adjust the health protection measures on their installations and in our facilities.
Since June 2020, our garrison has remained at health protection condition (HPCON) Bravo, after the initial phase of the pandemic in HPCON Charlie.
Based on the assessment of our health command authorities, senior commander, and the actions of local leadership, USAG Stuttgart will now return to HPCON Alpha, which was our health protection condition before the pandemic.
We still require that our community members adhere to required protection and mitigation measures at off-post facilities. COVID-19 is still with us, and we continue to recommend wearing a mask when appropriate or required, maintaining physical distance, and hand washing.
The health and safety of our Soldiers, Families, Civilians and communities remain our top priorities, and we will adjust our HPCON as necessary.”
As this transition takes place, the number one priority is to do so in a safe and effective manner. More news and updates on impacts to garrison services will be released as and when decisions can be made public. We appreciate your patience.
