A local national strike will impact some Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) services Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026. This situation is developing. Some workers may decide to work or participate in the strike, and the strike may continue into this week. We will provide updates as they become available.
The following services will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026. If you have an appointment, we recommend rescheduling for a later date.
- Vehicle Inspection (POV)
- Central Issue Facility (CIF)
Duty bus routes will be significantly impacted on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.
- The bus routes between RB-Kelley-SAAF / SAAF-Kelley-RB will operate as scheduled.
- The RED Bus Line (RB-Patch-Panzer / Panzer-Patch-RB) will not operate.
- The BLUE Bus Line (SAAF-Kelley-Patch / Patch-Kelley-SAAF) will not operate
- This is subject to change based on workforce availability.

The right to strike is constitutionally protected under German labor law. Local nationals working for USAG Stuttgart are employed under specific tariff agreements based on German labor law and heavily influenced by the NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). USAG Stuttgart respects the rights of our local nation workforce to defend their collective interests, and under these agreements, we are obliged to protect these rights.
