Stuttgart service member wins smoke-free challenge

Stuttgart Public Health hosted the Tobacco Free Stuttgart “Great American Smokeout” Nov. 20, 2015 to help those in the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart military community commit to quit Tobacco for one full day.

Community members pledged to be tobacco free for 24 hours, and also had the opportunity to  exchange cigarettes for discounted Nicotine patches and Nicotine gum at the Exchange on Panzer Kaserne.

The Stuttgart area winner was Sgt. Osvaldo Cruz for completing a full smoke-free day and pledging to continue his fight against tobacco.
