Stuttgart raises $270,000 for CFC-Overseas

Units across U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart raised $270,000 for charities during the 2015 Combined Federal Campaign Overseas held Sept. 21 to Nov. 20.

The CFC is an annual workplace giving campaign for the five overseas unified combatant commands. Under this year’s theme, “Give because you care!,” Stuttgart U.S. European Command personnel raised $100,000, and the U.S. Africa Command contributed $97,000. The remainder of the Stuttgart donations came for other supported units in the area.

Distinctive to the CFC-O, 6 percent of campaign gross, from undesignated contributions, is returned to the overseas installations Family Support and Youth Programs which is then used to invest in better quality of life programs for service members, their families, and federal employees.
