UPDATED Wed, July 14.

After reviewing community feedback, the USAG Stuttgart Garrison Commander, Col. Matt Ziglar, has announced a delay to the planned closure of the APO desk at Robinson Barracks.

“The decision to close was based on data and perhaps didn’t include some of the human elements that affect the residents of Robinson Barracks, Ziglar said. “In that regard we are going to delay that decision, we will not cease operations on 1 August.”

The Army & Air Force Post Office (APO) operations on Robinson Barracks will permanently close their window from Mon, Aug 1. This affects customers utilizing Robinson Barracks APO to send outbound mail.

The planned closure is due to the consolidation of USAG Stuttgart postal services and has no impact on the regular Community Mailroom (CMR) operations for inbound mail.

Alternative post offices for the processing of outbound mail are:

  • Panzer Post Office: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday’s and Wednesday’s
    • DSN: 596-2566 / CIV: 09641-70-596-2566
