Positive COVID-19 cases may affect on-post maintenance

Three employees of the base maintenance contractor tested positive for COVID-19. Two were on leave when symptoms began. Another went home Oct. 28 after developing symptoms. All were office staff and did not interact with residents or unit personnel. Contact tracing has identified several employees who must quarantine. U.S. and local health officials are aware of the situation.
This may affect maintenance, to include a slow-down on regular work orders and renovation on apartments being readied for newcomers to on-post Army Family Housing. Some customer work orders are being rescheduled. The slowdown is expected to last until Nov. 20. Also, the self-help store at Robinson Barracks will not operate for two weeks.
