Due to ongoing construction for new heating lines in the housing area at Kansas Loop, parking at Washington Square will be limited, according to project staff at U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart’s public works directorate.
Residents who live in nearby buildings were directed to use Washington Square as temporary parking. With more commuters returning to work in offices at Patch, the area is becoming more congested.
The parking situation will remain challenging for the next three months, as the different phases of construction occur. During this time, commuters should consider using alternate parking area around Patch.
