Oct. 1987, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed a day in October as German-American Day. Annually the German American Center and the city of Stuttgart, present a Concert to commemorate this day. The German American Fall Friendship Concert “I wish I were in Love Again” will be held on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Neue Schloss.
Participants in the event include guest speaker, Maj. Gen. Mark L. Loeben, U.S. European Command J7 director; sabre and color guards by Stuttgart High School Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
