Get ready for a whole new experience at Galaxy Bowling & Entertainment Center (GBEC) as Family & MWR embarks on a journey of innovation and transformation!
Starting March 5, works kick off on pinsetter updates, a significant upgrade that promises to elevate your bowling experience to new heights.
“Our new line of Pinsetters (Bowling Machines) allows bowlers to focus on a fully-functional experience with smooth frame resets and instant scoring,” said Autumn Mann, Galaxy Bowling & Entertainment Center business manager.
The team at GBEC is working hard to ensure that all the bowling fun is still available during the renovations! To make sure you get the most out of your time bowling, GBEC recommends calling ahead to reserve your lane.
Worried about fulfilling that wing craving during all the renovations? No worries. ShaWINGz will remain open and serve all your mild, medium, and spicy favorites, even though the front counter will be closed. Orders can be placed in the Prost on Post located at the back of the Galaxy Bowling & Entertainment Center, as well as online orders, as always.
The remodel of GBEC isn’t just about a fresh coat of paint; it’s a complete reimagining of the interior space. Coming soon are new couches and coffee tables along the lanes, providing ample seating and room for larger groups to gather and bowl in comfort.
In the future, beyond the lane renovations, GBEC is planning to revamp the entire atmosphere, bidding adieu to the “Family Fun Zone” vibe and welcoming a more contemporary ambiance. Warm tones and updated flooring will invite you to indulge in an experience that’s both modern and appealing. Leagues will be back in full swing, alongside monthly tournaments. Plus, fan-favorite events like Cosmic Bowling on Friday and Saturday nights will continue to light up the lanes.
