Just in time for Independence Day, Uniformed and Overseas Voters Week takes place June 27-July 2.
During this week, (27 June 2018 to 2 July 2018) garrison Voting Assistance Officers will be manning tables at the Exchange and commissaries. The VAOs can assist U.S. voters in requesting their absentee ballots and registering to vote. The mid-term election will be November 6 and it is important that overseas voters know that they need to request their absentee ballots every calendar year while stationed overseas using the Federal Post Card Application, available at the Installation Voting Assistance Office.
