In case you haven’t heard yet, it’s a pretty big birthday for the U.S. Army this year. With 250 years of history, the Army is the oldest of the U.S. Armed Forces. Here in Stuttgart, you have many chances to celebrate with your friends, family, and fellow service members.

The night’s events are open to the entire USAG Stuttgart military community and include remarks/presentation, plated dinner, live DJ, and dancing. Dress options for military personnel include the blue mess uniform, the dress variation of the Army Service Uniform, or the dress Army Green Service Uniform. Civilian employees and guests should wear appropriate formal attire.

Army Birthday Lunch at the 1-10 Dining Facility
Panzer Kaserne
The Originals Dining Facility is getting ready to celebrate the Army’s birthday with yummy eats! Stop by on June 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate the big 250 with a special spread of beef pot roast, barbecue pork ribs, chicken cordon bleu, and roast turkey with sides and desserts.

Army 250th Birthday Celebration
Panzer Kaserne
Stuttgart Family & MWR is throwing a free celebration to honor 250 years of your Army! Join them from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the MWR Event Field on Panzer Kaserne (playground area behind Bldg. 2915) for an unforgettable day honoring the dedication, service, and excellence of brave soldiers past and present. There will be live entertainment, family-friendly attractions such as bounce houses, a dunk tank, and other games, delicious food and beverages, Army spirit challenges, and commemorative displays and experiences.
