MWR and ACS social media pages are going away, here’s how to stay informed

By USAG Stuttgart Public Affairs

In accordance with a recent Army Directive, several garrison organizations, including Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) and Army Community Service (ACS), will discontinue their official social media accounts, on July 31.

This change is part of an Army-wide effort to simplify access to official information and improve the consistency of communications across Army installations worldwide. While individual organizational accounts will be retired, the programs, services, and events you rely on will continue without interruption.

Going forward, information regarding community events, programs, and services will be centralized through official USAG Stuttgart communication channels:

USAG Stuttgart’s internal organizations are working closely together to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible.

Please note that this directive applies only to Army organizations. It does not affect organizations such as AAFES, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), American Forces Network (AFN), Military Health System (MHS) facilities, other military services, or joint commands.
