There will be a local holiday on Thursday, June 4, 2026, for Corpus Christi.
This means that some services around the garrison staffed largely by local national professionals will be closed, including: the Army Housing Office, Driver Testing and Training, SATO Travel, Central Issue Facility, POV Vehicle Shipping, POV Inspection/Customer Service Team, Transportation Motor Pool, and the Transportation Office (Household Goods).
Assume that most places on the economy which are usually closed on Sundays will also be closed on the holiday. This includes off-post grocery and retail stores. Commissaries and the Panzer Main Exchange will operate with normal hours. However, there may be adjustments to hours at other Exchange facilities.
In addition to the local holiday, the garrison’s local national employees have a “bridge day” on Friday, June 5, 2026. The garrison services listed above that are typically closed on German holidays will also be closed.
The duty bus will run its regular weekday schedule on both days.
