Third-party housing inspections of U.S. Army Housing on U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart started this week and will run through 16. This checklist is intended to help on-post residents prepare.
The purpose of this inspection to assess the conditions of Army Housing and help the Army address issues quickly while planning long-term improvements. Residents are encouraged to openly share any concerns, experiences, and recommendations regarding the condition of their homes with the inspectors.
Reminders are emailed the day before. Please ensure you are on time and present. No shows become escorted inspections with chains of command next week. All unscheduled are also escorted inspections with chains of command next week.
For residents with scheduled third-party housing inspection appointments on Jan. 14 and 15, please note that a notice to enter will be posted on Jan. 13. This notice is only applicable if you miss your scheduled appointment. In the event of your absence, a base representative will accompany the inspector to enter the residence at the appointed time. If you have an appointment, we kindly request your presence and ask that you secure any pets.
