The Brezel Bike Race & Women’s Cycling Grand Prix will cause some road closures and traffic disruptions around Stuttgart this weekend.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, the Brezel Race Stuttgart & Region will start at 8:45 a.m. and the Women’s Cycling Grand Prix will start at 12:20 p.m.

- Closures and alternate routes will be clearly posted.
- Roads will be closed to private vehicles just before cyclists pass through; after the last racers, the roads will reopen once police confirm it’s safe.
- Bus lines will also be affected. Expect major disruptions and possible route changes. Check with VVS and SSB for specific public transport information.

Key Times & Affected Areas

- 12:30 a.m. (Sunday): Parking bans will be in effect in affected zones. Cars parked in prohibited zones may be towed.
- 8:00 – 10:15 a.m.: Areas leaving Stuttgart, includes Stuttgart Mitte (Österreichischer Platz, Wilhelmsplatz, etc.), Bad Cannstatt, Unter and Obertürkheim, Uhlbach, Rotenberg.
- 9:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Entering Stuttgart via Mühlhausen, Münster, Stuttgart Nord, ending downtown near Rotebühlplatz.
- 1:45 – 4:30 p.m.: Final circuit of the Women’s Cycling Grand Prix through streets such as Theodor Heuss Straße, Rotebühlstraße, Silberburgstraße, Ludwigstraße, etc.
- Additional closures starting Saturday, Sept. 13 will full closures on Sunday until 8 p.m. in central areas (e.g. Friedrichstraße, Theodor Heuss Straße, Rotebühlplatz, Paulinenstraße).
