****USAG Stuttgart is conducting a protection exercise this week to assess our ability to respond to potential threats and enhance our protection measures.****

Installations may experience delayed inbound traffic and duty bus schedules. Be aware some garrison-based, non-essential offices and services will close, work remotely, or restrict or adjust their services starting Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025. Once we confirm the operating status of these offices and services, we will update the My Army Post App and this webpage.

During the exercise only the installation main gates and manned pedestrian gates will be OPEN. Alternative gates and unmanned pedestrian gates will be CLOSED until the exercise ends.

This webpage is the official source for exercise information during the exercise. We will post similar information on My Army Post App and USAG Stuttgart’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

SECURITY IS EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILTY

Your smart choices can help the entire community. Here are some easy ways you can help the exercise run smoothly.

Carpool, use public transit or duty buses, drive in at off-peak times, ride a bicycle, or avoid the installation to help reduce traffic volume.
Allow extra travel time for traffic delays.
Always carry two valid forms of official identification.
Clean out your vehicle and trunk to help speed up vehicle inspections.
Politely and quickly comply with directions from security personnel.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS AND INTERRUPTIONS

Some offices and services will be open for appointments only, some may cancel appointments, and others will offer virtual appointments. Call ahead to confirm all appointments.

WHAT’S OPEN?

CYS Facilities, Stuttgart Army Health Clinics, Commissaries, Panzer Exchange, Postal Services
DoDEA schools are open for teachers and staff. Parents are advised to call the school before coming in.
Fitness Centers will have adjusted hours, and unmanned access will not be available. All garrison fitness centers will close at 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11. During the rest of the exercise, Kelley, Patch, and Panzer fitness centers will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Robinson Fitness Center will be open 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Household Goods delivery and pick up will continue as scheduled. Someone needs to meet the driver at the main gate and escort them to housing.
