Col. Carl D. Bird will replace Col. Richard M. Pastore as commanding officer of U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart during a change of command ceremony scheduled for July 19.
The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on the Panzer Kaserne parade field, adjacent to USAG Stuttgart headquarters, Building 2949.
Bird comes to USAG Stuttgart after serving as director of Defense Supply Center Columbus Land Customer Operations, in Columbus, Ohio.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Panzer Fitness Center, Building 2990.
