U.S. Army in Europe joined with U.S. Air Forces in Europe elements and members of allied forces in commemorating Memorial Day at a dozen events in five nations. USAREUR supported ceremonies in Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, with senior leaders, chaplains, color guards, buglers and the USAREUR Band, while USAFE and allied pilots and air crews conducted flyovers at each event.
