Krissy Soto, treasurer of the 554th Military Police Company’s Family Readiness Group received the Löwen Award on Aug. 19 at Panzer Chapel. The award was presented by Capt. Daniel Jimenez, commander of the 554th Military Police Company on behalf of Lt. Col. Matthew Gragg, commander of the 709th Military Police Battalion to honor her constant devotion and tireless service to the 554th MP CO’s FRG. Soto’s efforts are instrumental in the continued success of the 554th MP CO’s FRG as she continues to dedicate her personal time to volunteer and plan its many events.

The Löwen Award is unique to the 709th Military Police Battalion, awarded to active members of the various FRGs within the battalion to highlight the exceptional efforts select FRG members put into looking after the company’s Soldiers. Whether it’s caring for a Soldier’s children on emergency leave, or cooking a Thanksgiving meal for all the Single Soldiers in the barracks, Löwen Award recipients are committed to the Soldiers of the 554th Military Police Company.
