Dr. Susan S. Kelly, the Transition to Veterans Program Office director visited U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart to discuss force management, and outreach resources and assistance programs designed to help service members transition smoothly back in to the civilian world.
Kelly met with U.S. European Command officials and conduct a working lunch with senior enlisted leaders. She also received briefings from garrison officials about the various programs USAG Stuttgart offers the service members stationed here. She concluded her visit meeting with Army Career Alumni Program and Transition Assistance Program students.
Kelly is the principle director, Transition to Veterans Program Office, Office of Under Secretary of Defense. She is a member of the Senior Executive Service and leads the implementation of the Department of Defense TAP. She is co-chair on the Improvement Process Team of the DoD/VA Veterans Employment Initiative Task Force.
