Happiness is great musical theatre! Auditions for “You’re a good man, Charlie Brown,” begin with a pre-audition workshop on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m., followed by 7 p.m. auditions, Oct. 21-23.
The musical is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schultz. With charm, wit and heart, the musical explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. Sally Brown joins Charlie, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder and Snoopy in this revised version of the original 1967 production. The cast is is four men and two women–all roles play children, so adult actors should be a child at heart. Come prepared to sing as part of the audition.
All auditions take place at the theatre. A copy of the script is available.
PERFORMANCES
Dec. 6, 7, 13 & 14 and Jan. 10, 11, 17 & 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Dec. 8, 15 and Jan. 12, 19 at 3 p.m.
There will be a special invited matinee performance for Exceptional Family Member Program participants only on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Important note: Due to the lateness of the holiday, all cast members must be available for rehearsal on the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving.
