The Drama Club at Patch Elementary School recently put on their production of “The Fairy Tale Network,” a children’s play by John Woodard.

In the play, three mice work as creative consultants and try to improve viewership of their television network with exciting new programming. In order to avoid being eaten by their new CEO, a cat, they retell the tales of “The Three Little Pigs,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and
“Goldilocks and the Three Bears.” Except this time, there are new, unexpected twists.

As the mice pitched their ideas, a crew of drama club busy bees raced on stage with props,  sometimes even becoming set pieces themselves.

The PES Drama Club members were made up of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. They performed for their classmates and parents on May 3rd and 4th. The young actors were outstanding in their
performance and provided loads of laughs for the audience.
