Child & Youth Services

School Support Services provides Army school-aged youth with educational opportunities, resources and information necessary to achieve academic success.

A branch of Child & Youth Services (CYS), School Support Services features School Liaison Officers (SLOs), who help schools, installations and Families work together for student achievement.

To ease the transition, contact your SLO as soon as you get orders.

All requests for childcare must be done via www.militarychildcare.com.

Families will need to create an account and do a request for care. Stuttgart CYS has 3 CDC’s that offer full day care, 1 CDC that offers Part Day/Part Time care, and 4 School Age programs.

Child care is offered contingent upon available spaces within each program. Parent Central Services is not always able to offer childcare at the preferred location. In those situations Parent Central Services will keep you on an internal preference for care list. If a space becomes available at your preferred location we will contact you and coordinate enrollment in the new program.

To protect the health of our student athletes and to help stop the spread of the virus, the Garrison and DoDEA have determined that allowing contact sports for the winter season represents an unnecessary risk. We are committed to education-based athletic programs once the health situation changes. In the interim, we will continue to provide students with skill support and appropriate conditioning opportunities. Our coaches and athletic programs will provide resources to assist in safeguarding the well-being, scholarships, and eligibility of our student athletes. There may be opportunities to add additional athletics opportunities of low and moderate risk, with mitigation efforts in place.
