Thursday, October 3, is German Unity Day (Tag der Deutschen Einheit), a public holiday across Germany. Some services around the garrison staffed largely by local national professionals will be closed, as well as most off-post shops and services. The opening of both Enhanced Security Pedestrian Gates (ESPGs) on Kelley Barracks has been delayed.
