The U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart Public Affairs Office is in the process of consolidating StuttgartCitizen.net with StuttgartCitizen.com. As a result, Nov. 1, 2014 StuttgartCitizen.net will be redirected to StuttgartCitizen.com.
Within a few weeks both the dot com and dot net addresses will point to the same website.
StuttgartCitizen.com was previously operated independently by AdvantiPro, the publisher of the printed, biweekly Citizen newspaper.
The goal of the consolidation is to create a single website with timely and comprehensive news and information for the Stuttgart U.S. military community.
The garrison PAO will have editorial control over the official news and information content on the dot com site when the consolidation is complete.
AdvantiPro will also continue to deliver supplemental lifestyle content via the site.
Subscribers to the Stuttgart Citizen Daily Email, beginning Nov. 1, will stop receiving daily news emails from the dot net site and will begin receiving daily emails from StuttgartCitizen.com.
The new emails will also utilize a new email sending tool which should improve the overall user experience. The transition should be automatic and seamless to users.
