The Army and Air Force Exchange Service Laundromat located in Building 2995 on Panzer Kaserne remain inoperable as of March 10.
After replacing the gas valves on the dryer units recently, technicians identified a need for gas valve regulators to stabilize the gas flow from the tank to the dryer.
AAFES and U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart Department of Public Works are working to finalize the modifications to the dryers. Once operational, a notice will be posted on www.stuttgartcitizen.com.
The washers in the Panzer facility are useable. Or people can visit the Laundromat in Building 3312 on Kelley Barracks for both washing and drying needs.
