The Federal Benefits Unit/Social Security Administration will not attend the Consular Outreach, Aug. 22.
Outreach hours will be shortened to 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Passport Office will be closed Aug. 22 to support the Outreach.
If you do not have an appointment for Outreach but have a complete tourist passport application and everything on the checklist, you may walk-in between 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Checklist includes the 2D barcoded application, current pictures, all current passports and copies of those passports (including Official/No-Fee/ Diplomatic as well as Tourist), ID and a copy front and back, bank cashier’s check or postal money order made out to Department of State for exact amount for each application ($115 child under 16, $110 adult ten year passport renewal, $145 first adult passport or lost/stolen), applicant (children must be present), both parents if applicant is under 16, one parent if applicant is 16 or 17, birth certificate/ naturalization certificate if under 18 OR a first time applicant after the age of 16 OR if your passport has been lost/stolen, proof of SSN (memory, card, other document), and, if changing your name, bring marriage certificate/divorce decree/court order.
