A change to the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart Off-Post Uniform Wear effective Oct. 10 means that service members are no longer permitted to eat meals off-post while in uniform. The purpose is to reduce the U.S. military signature off post and prevent service members from being targeted by lone wolf terrorists or terrorist groups.
This policy applies to all Department of Defense personnel assigned, attached, or in transit in the USAG Stuttgart area of responsibility.
