An anti-military demonstration is scheduled for Oct. 3, 12:45 – 5 p.m. in the Schlossplatz area of Stuttgart. Organizers estimate 10,000 people will participate in the demonstration. As part of the rally, a march will start at 2 p.m. at the Schlossplatz (near Commerzbank), proceed via R.v.W.-Planie, Hauptstätter Straße, Wilhelmstraße, Olgastraße, Charlottenstraße, then back to Schlossplatz.
There is a significant risk of violence against U.S. and German military personnel in and out of uniform.
We recommend members of the USAG Stuttgart military community members avoid the area during this time and avoid wearing or carrying items that may identify military affiliation.
