All clear after Patch gate car accident

One person was transported by emergency services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a vehicle accident at the Patch Barracks main gate. The vehicle struck a denial barrier at approximately 3 p.m., causing the temporary closure of the gate.
The Directorate of Emergency Services found in their post-accident assessment no degradation to the barriers. Within three hours, the gate was reopened with full functionality.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
