Active duty personnel to receive initial flu vaccine **UPDATED**

USAG Stuttgart received a limited amount of Flu vaccines this year. Army Health Clinic Stuttgart at this time is unable to continue the Flu Pandemic Exercise because of this shortage.

Clinic personnel will continue to administer vaccines in the Medical Readiness Department located at the Clinic until the existing supply is exhausted. The anticipated resupply will be sometime in early November.

As unpredictable as flu seasons are, the 2020 flu season will be unique given the additional challenges of the coronavirus.

Annually, there are more than 25 million reported cases of influenza in the United States alone, with more than 150,000 hospitalizations due to serious complications, and up to 30,000 deaths..
