A 81 Expansion – Sindelfingen‑Ost to Böblingen‑Hulb

Both the on‑ and off‑ramps of AS Böblingen/Sindelfingen toward Stuttgart to close. Detours will direct drivers via the nearby AS Böblingen‑Hulb August 17, 5 a.m. Traffic will be shifted onto the newly built southern carriageway east of the Goldberg Tunnel. This includes:

  • Longer merge lane on AS Böblingen‑Ost towards Stuttgart.
  • Closure of the AS Sindelfingen‑Ost ramp to Singen permanently; replaced by a new ramp on AS Böblingen‑Ost to Singen.
  • Night-time one-lane traffic shifts and short full closures as part of phase transitions.

 

Traffic east of the Goldberg Tunnel will be shifted to the newly completed southern carriageway.
From August 17, 2026, 5 a.m. :

  • The ramp at Böblingen‑Ost toward Stuttgart will receive an extended acceleration lane.
  • The entrance at Sindelfingen‑Ost toward Singen will be permanently closed.
  • A new entrance at Böblingen‑Ost toward Singen will open.
  • Night‑time full closures and single‑lane traffic phases will be required during the setup.


    Half‑Closure: Wolfgang‑Brumme‑Allee (Sindelfingen area)

Period: Ongoing until September 4, 
Impact:

  • Half‑road closure on Wolfgang‑Brumme‑Allee (direction toward Elbenplatz) between Talstraße and Friedrich‑List‑Platz.

    Pedestrian Access: Remains open.

    Detours Include: Talstraße → Sindelfinger Straße → Friedrich‑List‑Straße

    Friedrich‑List‑Straße Full Closure (Böblingen town)

Closing Segment: Between Moltkestraße and Bismarckplatz.
