The My Army Post App (MAPA) is the Army's new official mobile application designed to provide service members, families, and garrison teams with convenient access to on-post resources and information.
The app makes navigating military life easier – no matter the duty station – by allowing users to set their home post and find on-demand information. Whether you’re moving into Stuttgart or out of it, MAPA is there for you. You can easily switch between your existing and future installations in the same app and find everything you need about the next place you’ll call home.
With an easy-to-use search function, users can quickly find operating hours for fitness centers, on-post dining, and, yes, even when the PX and commissary are open.
Find out how to make appointments, contact emergency services, put in a maintenance request or find employment upon arrival. MAPA also includes information on weather, road closures, and duty bus schedules. Additionally, the app allows users to navigate to on-post facilities by building number, even if other details are unknown.
One key personalization feature is the ability to easily receive push notifications about the information you need most. A bookmarking feature also allows users to save their frequently accessed resources and events directly to their home page, so that important information is always at your fingertips. This can be particularly important at USAG Stuttgart as information for one installation may not always be relevant if you work or live on another.
MAPA is just one tool to add to your USAG Stuttgart playbook. Stay in the know by following USAG Stuttgart on Facebook, signing up for email alerts from the Stuttgart Citizen, and setting up text alerts from the ALERT! Mass Notification System.
You can download the free My Army Post app in the Apple App Store or Google Play stores.
